WEOLLEX

this album was born from the experiences and emotions I've experienced. by removing vocals, I wanted to leave the listener alone with the music, so that everyone could hear something unique in it, without being distracted by predetermined meanings. each composition conveys a specific state, and the album's overall journey forms an emotional story.

my first album. I remember putting it together from demos from different years and finishing it in a hurry so I could finish it at home before moving. It contains experiments with sound and many genres. the lyrics hide interesting stories and my experiences, and the sound is a reflection of them.

my first release on digital platforms. I was still in school when I made it. this track has a rather glitchy sound, and the track itself is in a soft house genre.

I remember wanting to create some beautiful ambient music, and knowing myself, I ended up with a rather smooth sound texture with no harsh sounds at all. it reminds me of the PS4 menu music. by the way, the cover for this release is a photo I took and a small figurine I made myself!

Vibe over the Year tells without words what I felt throughout the past year; at the time of writing the track, it was the end of 2023. I really like it and sometimes I immerse myself in this atmosphere of beautiful sounds again and again.
